Deputies locate a stolen vehicle occupied by two males who are later arrested for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
DATE/TIME: Saturday, February 2, 2019 @ 1202 hours.
INCIDENT: Grand Theft Auto & Possession of a stolen vehicle.
LOCATION: 200 Block of J Street, Needles, CA.
SUSPECTS: Adolfo Torres, age 35 a resident of Hesperia
Josuph R. Richmond, age 30 a resident of Mohave Valley, AZ.
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY:
On Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 12:02 pm, deputies were alerted to a stolen vehicle in the area of North K Street and Needles Highway. Deputies began conducting an area check and located the vehicle on the 200 block of J Street, in the city of Needles. The vehicle was found to be occupied by Torres and Richmond. A felony traffic stop was conducted and both Torres and Richmond were taken into custody without incident. Both were transported to the Colorado River Station for booking.
Adolfo Torres, was found to be on active Post Release Community Supervision, and was booked for grand theft auto, possession of a stolen vehicle, as well as a no bail probation violation. Torres is currently being held without bond, pending a court hearing.
Richmond was booked for possession of stolen property and is currently being held on $50,000 bail, pending a court hearing.
