Theft
Investigators with the Jackson Police Department are investigating a Theft and Fraudulent use of a Debit Card and need assistance identifying a person of interest.
On January 9th, officers with the Jackson Police Department took a theft report at 2644 N. Highland Avenue, C&C Liquors. The victim in this theft advised an unknown person had taken his wallet and used his debit card after he mistakenly left it on the counter at C&C Liquors. The victim advised his debit card had been used to make purchases at 2655 N. Highland Avenue, the Marathon Gas Station.
Surveillance video from the Marathon captures a black male, wearing a black hoodie with “World Ventures” on the left sleeve and a logo on the back, using the victim’s card. The suspect also wore a black toboggan, gray or khaki shorts and tennis shoes. The suspect possibly was driving a gray four door vehicle.
