Due to the heavy rain being experienced, Simi Valley residents are urged to avoid the following roadways and intersections due to partial flooding and mud flow concerns:
- First St. and Los Angeles Ave.
- First St. at Royal Ave.
- First St. at Mellow Lane
- First St. at Nonchalant Drive
- First St. at Bennett St.
- Madera Rd. at Los Angeles Ave.
- Madera Rd. at Royal Ave.
- Madera Rd. at Woodranch Parkway
- Woodranch Parkway at Long Canyon Rd.

The Simi Valley Police Department would like to remind drivers to exercise caution when traveling on wet roadways, and to be mindful of temporary signage placed at intersections and areas of mud flow.
