As a follow up to our previous Nixle alert regarding the El Segundo Refinery, areas surrounding the refinery may experience an odor that is coming from a sour water tank. This is an unpleasant odor but does not pose a safety hazard. Chevron is aware of the issue and is working to resolve the odor. For questions please contact the Chevron hotline at (310)615-5342.
