* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 16 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Northwest San Juan Mountains and Southwest San Juan Mountains.

* WHEN...From late Saturday night through Sunday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult, especially over Molas, Coal Bank, Lizard Head and Red Mountain Passes. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTHWESTERN SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS ... SOUTHWEST SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS
