Kohl's Shoplifters Arrested

On January 31, 2019 at approximately 5:00 PM, Kohl's Loss Prevention called to report that two men were placing several pairs of shoes in a duffel bag and preparing to leave without paying. When Officers arrived, one of the men exited the store and entered a pickup truck. The driver drove the truck near the north exit, in an apparent attempt to provide a quick getaway for his co-conspirator. When the second suspect left the store with the duffel bag full of shoes, the officers were waiting and stopped the truck and the driver, Jacob Lheureux, a 21 year-old Simi Valley resident. The second suspect, 21 year-old Jordan WIlliams of Arleta, ran away and into the nearby Senior apartments. Officers set a perimeter around the complex and eventually located Williams in a hallway on the third floor of one of the apartment buildings. Subsequent investigation revealed that Williams attempted to enter one of the apartments but was turned away. Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Ventura County Jail for criminal conspiracy to commit a crime, shoplifting, and resisting arrest.

SVPD authorizes the Ventura County Sheriff's Department to release the booking photos.
