Warning: Burglars Claiming to Work for Door Dash Food Delivery Service Entered a Residence and Stole Property.
On Sunday, January 27, 2019, at approximately 1:30 am, two males came to the victim's home in the 800 block of Hillcrest Street. The victim, who was asleep in his living room, woke up to the males calling to him through the open front door. They suddenly opened the door and entered the house. The subjects claimed to work for Door Dash food delivery service and asked the victim to use his bathroom. After using the bathroom, both subjects left the residence. The next day, the victim discovered his wallet had been stolen and his credit cards had been used at several locations.
The suspects are described as two male black adults. The first suspect was approximately 21-years-old, approximately 6'5" tall, with a thin build, wearing a black long sleeve shirt and black sweatpants. The second suspect was approximately 40-years-old, approximately 5'11" with a muscular build, wearing a tan long sleeve shirt.
