Instructions:

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Warning for Dane County that is in effect from 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 29 to 12 p.m. Thursday January 31. The forecast calls for "Once in a generation" wind chills. Once temperatures have fallen below zero they will likely not rise above zero again until Friday.

Tonight through Thursday morning will be the coldest period with lows forecasted to be -20 to -30 below zero. These bitterly cold temperatures will combine with a 10 to 20 mph wind that will produce minimum wind chill values of -35 to -55 below zero.
