Synopsis: A 64 year male old pedestrian was walking northbound along 4300 Imperial Ave., in the crosswalk. The pedestrian had been drinking. A 66 year old male, driving a 2011 Ford Escape, was westbound in the #1 lane when he struck the pedestrian in the crosswalk. Medics transported the pedestrian to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Traffic Division responded to the scene and are investigating the collision.

Synopsis: A 24 year old black male walked into the Metro PCS Kiosk. The male displayed a handgun to the clerk and demanded money. When he was unable to obtain any money from the clerk, the suspect walked out with nothing. The suspect was taken into custody, a short time later, behind the store. He was found in possession of a replica handgun. The Robbery Unit responded and are investigating the incident.
