Aggravated Battery with Firearm Suspect Taken Into Custody 
On Friday, January 25, 2019 the Janesville Police Department Street Crimes Unit received information Malik M Perry, a suspect in an aggravated battery involving a firearm out of Illinois, was in Janesville. Members of patrol, Street Crimes Unit, and the FBI located Malik M Perry 19 in Janesville and he was taken into custody without incident.
Malik Perry had a warrant for his arrest issued out of Cook County, Illinois.
Malik Perry is currently being held the Rock County Jail awaiting extradition back to Illinois.
