Good Samaritan Who Helped County Police Officer Fight Violent Suspect Made Honorary Deputy By SHERIFF VICTOR HILL
Shimon Burch made news headlines when he jumped in to help a Clayton County Police Officer fight a violent suspect who was stung out on meth who was later identified as Murico Mancera. Gripping video footage linked below showed just how violent Mancera was before Burch risked his life to assist a law-enforcement Officer.
When Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill was made aware of Burch’s Good Samaritan act towards law-enforcement, he had his Deputies locate him so that Burch could be honored in a big way.
Earlier today, Shimon Burch was sworn in as an Honorary Deputy by Sheriff Victor Hill for his bravery. Sheriff Hill told Burch that he is a great American and will always be an Honorary Deputy in Clayton County. A Sheriff’s Office flag that was flown over the Sheriff’s Office on this date in Burch’s honor was also presented to the good and brave Samaritan.
Meanwhile, Mancera is still facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail now better known as the “Hill-ton” while Hill’s Deputies prepare to wage an all out war on meth dealers.
