EASTERN GREENBRIER WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FROM 5 AM TO 7 PM TUESDAY.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM TO 7 PM EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected with total accumulations of 1 to 3 inches,
mainly at the higher elevations. Winds gusting near 40 mph.
Wind chills falling through the teens during the afternoon.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest and west central Virginia,
northwest North Carolina and southeast West Virginia.

* WHEN...From 5 AM to 7 PM EST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult for the
Tuesday morning commute as surfaces become wet or slushy before
rapidly freezing.
