Wilmington Police Announce Arrest and Indictment of Two Men in 2016 Murder
Upon police arrival, they located the victim, Allen Cannon, suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers and medical personnel attempted life-saving measures, however he succumbed to his injury.
For more than two years, Detective Robert Fox and members of the FBI Task Force worked tirelessly to bring justice to the family of Allen Cannon. During the extensive and diligent investigation, Detective Fox was able to develop WILSON and RAY as the suspects.
The case went before a New Castle County Grand Jury, which returned an indicted for WILSON and RAY on the above listed charges.
Wilmington Police Announce Arrest and Indictment of Two Men in 2016 Murder 
On Tuesday, January 22, 2019, the Wilmington Department of Police and the Delaware Department of Justice indicted and arrested two men for the June 2016 murder of Allen Cannon, 36 years old, from Wilmington.
Brian Wilson, 39 years old, from Wilmington, was indicted and charged with the following felony offenses:
- Murder First Degree
- Conspiracy First Degree
- Criminal Solicitation First Degree
- Murder First Degree
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Possession of a Firearm Previously Convicted
- Conspiracy First Degree
