Traffic stop leads to arrest of Kentucky woman for driving without ever receiving a license.

On January 22, 2019, at 1:39 p.m. Deputy Zach Lienemann conducted a traffic stop on a Silver 2005 Ford 500 for speeding on US 41 near County Road 550 South. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Lienemann identified the driver as 27 year old Amber Krieg of Henderson, Kentucky. During a roadside investigation Deputy Lienemann ran Ms. Krieg through the Kentucky Bureau of Motor Vehicles and discovered that she had never obtained an operator’s license. At that point Deputy Lienemann placed Ms. Krieg into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Jail Ms. Krieg was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Never Licensed. She has since posted a $450 bond.

Assisting Deputy Lienemann in his investigation was Deputy U.B. Smith.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
