Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male adult on the 13200 block of Valley Boulevard, Bassett. The incident occurred on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at approximately 2:20 a.m.

Detectives have learned that deputies assigned to the Industry Sheriff's station responded to the location regarding a gunshot victim. Upon the arrival of the deputies, they found one victim at the location unresponsive and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. 

Detectives investigated the incident and discovered that the suspect drove his vehicle alongside two victims. The suspect exited the vehicle and fired multiple rounds at the victims.  One of the victims was struck by gunfire and the second victim a male adult was able to flee the area without injury.  

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  

At this time, there is no description of the suspect the vehicle or a motive for the shooting.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to investigate the shooting death of a man. The incident occurred on Thursday January 24, 2019, at approximately 2:22 a.m., on the 13200 block of Valley Boulevard, Bassett.   
    
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
