On 01-23-19 at approximately 6 p.m. the Janesville Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 2600 block of Kellogg Avenue. Upon arrival officers located a 41 year old Janesville man that had been shot multiple times. The witness at the scene knew the suspect who shot the man, and advised he had fled the scene.
With the assistance of the Green County Sheriff's Dept. and the Monroe Police Department the suspect was taken into custody in Green County. The victim of the shooting died as a result of his injuries, and his information is not being released until his family is notified.
