The City of Hoboken has opened registration for youth spring sports programs. To register your child online, please visit http://www.hobokennj.gov/register. The following spring sports are available to Hoboken residents only:
Instructional Baseball (4, 5 and 6 year olds)
Coach Pitch (7-8 year olds)
(if your child is 8 years old, you must choose between Coach Pitch or Minor League Baseball)
Minor League (8-9 year olds)
Tryout dates: February 10, 17 and 24 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm
Major League (9-12 year olds)
Tryout dates: February 10, 17 and 24 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm
Junior league baseball (13-14 year olds)
Senior league baseball (15-16 year olds)
Girls R.B.I. Softball – Coach Pitch (4-8 year olds)
Girls R.B.I. Softball (9-12 year olds)
Girls R.B.I. Softball (13-18 year olds)
Tryout dates: February 16 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm, and February 23 and March 2 from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
All baseball and softball tryouts will take place at the Multi-Service Center (124 Grand Street, 2nd floor)
Youth lacrosse will be played on Saturday afternoons at 1600 Park. Lacrosse is open to boys and girls ages 8-14.
Registration is open for lacrosse until March 1, 2019, and for little league until February 22, 2019.
