Synopsis: A 29 year old male, driving a gray Toyota Tacoma, was traveling southbound along 100 Olive Drive in the number two lane. The driver came to a stop and proceeded to turn right onto westbound 100 E. San Ysidro Boulevard. A 50 year old female, standing on the sidewalk, stepped off the curb to cross 100 Olive Drive from the north to the south. As she stepped off the curb she was struck by the truck. The female was knocked to the ground and struck her head on the pavement. Medics transported the female to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. DUI is not suspected. Traffic Division responded to the scene and are investigating the collision.

Synopsis: The suspect entered the Metro PCS store and walked up to the counter. He pointed a black handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the register and the clerk complied. The suspect then demanded cell phones and told the clerk to get on the floor. The suspect left and the clerk called the police. The suspect was last seen heading westbound on Ocean View Boulevard. The loss is an undetermined number of cell phones and unknown amount of cash. The suspect was described as a black male, 30 to 40 years old, 5'8" to 5'10" tall, weighing about 250 pounds. He was wearing black pants and a hoodie. Robbery Detectives responded to the scene and are handling the investigation.
