Residents,
Please be reminded to take precautionary measures to safe guard your home and vehicles. Several neighboring towns have been victim to having vehicles stolen and thefts from the vehicles overnight. Morris Township Police and Morristown Police have been successfully working together over the last several months to deter and prevent the thefts in our municipalities. Although there has been a decrease in the thefts in our two towns due to specific patrol methods being taken, we still need our residents to lock their vehicle doors, remove valuables from sight, remove key FOBS from the vehicle and report suspicious behavior immediately.
