Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who attempted to steal groceries from a store in Islandia last month.

 

A man stole groceries from Stop & Shop, located at 1730 Veterans Memorial Highway, on December 21 at approximately 4:15 p.m. A store employee confronted the suspect in the parking lot and the man fled without proceeds.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
