Four suspects arrested after stealing six cell phones from a Sprint store and attempting to evade deputies

SUMMARY:
On Sunday, January 19, 2019 at 7:01 p.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Station responded to the Sprint store located at 19083 Bear Valley Rd. Four male suspects entered the store and stole six cellphones from a display case valued at $2,000. After taking the cellphones, all suspects fled the location in a black BMW. Deputy Verral located the BMW traveling on Apple Valley Rd. and attempted a traffic stop. The driver refused to stop and fled at a high rate of speed. The pursuit entered Victorville and ended at the intersection of Valley Center Dr. and La Paz Rd. when the suspect vehicle collided with a trailer being pulled by an SUV. The driver and one passenger were immediately taken into custody, while two other suspects ran from the collision. The suspects who ran from the collision were captured in a nearby shopping center. All suspects were arrested, and the stolen property was recovered.
