REMINDER: Snow Emergency in effect until 12:00 PM tomorrow, Monday, January 21, 2019.

Extremely cold temperatures will not allow the road salt to work effectively. Use caution when traveling.

**ORIGINAL MESSAGE**

By order of the Commissioner of Public Works, a Snow Emergency is declared for the Town of East Greenbush effective  12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 and ending at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019. **Updated from 6AM to Noon on Monday to allow DPW crews time to clear roads and drifts**

There will be no parking on public roads in the Town of East Greenbush for the duration the snow emergency. Vehicles parked on public roads may be ticketed and towed. Also, please ensure all trash cans and refuse containers are at least 4 feet in from the edge of pavement.
