The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has extended the

* Flood Warning for... West central Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia...

* Until 200 PM EST Sunday.

* At 748 AM EST, the Tygart Valley River at Mill Creek was out of its banks. The river gauge at Mill Creek was at 11.7 feet at 700 AM EST. Bankfull is 11 feet. County Route 39 near the bridge was reported as covered in water. Other low spots along Mill Creek and the Tygart Valley River may also experience high water.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mill Creek, Dailey, Beverly and Huttonsville.

* AFFECTED AREAS: RANDOLPH, WV

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying spots. Please report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
