Flood Warning until 08:00AM

The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has extended the

* Flood Warning for... West central Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia...

* Until 800 AM EST.

* At 408 AM EST, the Tygart Valley River at Mill Creek has risen out of its banks. The river gauge at Mill Creek was at 11.6 feet at 405 AM EST. Bankfull is 11 feet. County Route 39 near the bridge is covered in water. Other low spots along Mill Creek and the Tygart Valley River may also experience high water. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mill Creek, Dailey, Beverly and Huttonsville.

* AFFECTED AREAS: RANDOLPH, WV

Instructions:

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying spots. Please report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely. You may also report flooding by posting your report to the Charleston West Virginia National Weather Service Facebook Page, or by using the Twitter Hashtag, NWSRLX.
