Flood Warning until 05:00AM Sunday

The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Flood Warning for... West central Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia...

* Until 500 AM EST.

* At 157 AM EST, stream gauges along the Tygart Valley River indicate that minor flooding will begin soon along the Tygart Valley from Mill Creek to Dailey. The gauge on the Tygart Valley River at Mill Creek was as 10.7 feet and still rising. Bankfull is 11 feet. As the river rises above bankfull, flooding will begin on County Route 39 near the bridge. Other low spots along Mill Creek and Tygart Valley may also experience high water.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mill Creek, Dailey, Beverly and Huttonsville.

* AFFECTED AREAS: RANDOLPH, WV

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Please report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
