On January 17, 2019, at 12:04 a.m. Deputy Loren Barchett conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Main and Clark Street on a Blue 2010 Chevy Traverse for having improper headlights. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Barchett identified the driver as 26 year old Whitney Bowen of Princeton. During a roadside investigation Deputy Barchett ran Ms. Bowen through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and discovered that her license was suspended on a prior driving while suspended conviction. At that point Ms. Bowen was placed into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Driving While Suspended/Prior. She has since posted a $650 bond.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
