A strong cold front will push across the Mid-South this afternoon. Temperatures will drop abruptly and rain will switch over to snow by late afternoon. 1 to 2 inches of snow is possible across the advisory area through early Sunday morning. In addition, minor ice accumulations are possible due to freezing drizzle. Winter precipitation is expected to end within a couple hours after midnight.
