The search for a missing 11 year old girl in ongoing.
Search teams and search dogs are actively searching the desert area north of Mendiburu Road.
Police and searchers are asking for the public’s assistance by NOT entering the search area. The part north of Mendiburu is a popular area to take pets on walks along with residents who doing morning walks.
Additional shoe impressions or people entering this search area could hamper search efforts.
K9 teams and helicopters were used overnight and will continue this morning.
