Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Traffic Collision 
On January 14, 2019 at approximately 6:15 P.M., Simi Valley Police Officers responded to the parking lot of the Studio Movie Grill for a report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic collision.
A female in her 60's was discovered to have serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The male driver in his 50's was still on scene and cooperated with officers during the investigation. Drugs and alcohol did NOT appear to be a factor in this collision.
The investigation is being handled by the Simi Valley Police Department's traffic unit.
UPDATE: The pedestrian was pronounced deceased this afternoon at 1355 hours. The victim is identified as Raquel Lantin Asperas, 64 years old, a Simi Valley resident.
