INCIDENT: Attempted Murder

LOCATION: 12400 block of Senicio Avenue, Victorville

SUSPECT: Stephan Harvey, 40-years old, Victorville resident

VICTIM: Confidential


SUMMARY: On January 16, 2019, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a disturbance in the 12400 block of Senicio Avenue.

Upon arrival, deputies learned the suspect, Stephan Daniel Harvey, drove to his ex-girlfriend’s home and used his vehicle to ram the vehicle she was sitting in, multiple times. The victim exited the car and ran inside the house. As she ran towards the house the suspect drove his vehicle towards her, attempting to run her over. As he drove towards her he yelled out threats that he was going to kill her. The victim made it safely into the home without injury and the suspect fled the location prior to deputies arriving.

At approximately 3:30 a.m. on January 17, 2019, Deputies A. Bandari and D. Hoffman located the suspect at a motel in the 14800 block of Bear Valley Road in Hesperia. Harvey was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for attempted murder. He is scheduled to appear at Victorville Superior Court on January 22, 2019.
