Update on Impending Inclement Weather
The City of Hoboken is anticipating inclement weather to begin Thursday evening and continue overnight into Friday morning. As of 3pm, the Department of Environmental Services began brining the streets. In partnership with the County of Hudson, salting of City streets will begin at 11pm and continue overnight.
As the forecast continues to evolve, updates will be given throughout the weekend as additional snow is predicted for Saturday evening.
As a reminder, Emergency Snow Routes in Hoboken are labeled with street signs that read “No Parking When Road Is Snow Covered.” When streets are snow covered OR when a snow emergency is declared, no parking is permitted on these streets. Vehicles parked on snow emergency routes are subject to towing. This is necessary to move police, fire and ambulances throughout Hoboken in time of emergency for the safety and welfare of all our citizens.
