STOLEN: Orange Tao Tao moped; call 652-2237 or 65-CRIME with info; cash reward offered Reply with TIP 
Investigators are on the hunt for a stolen moped and the perpetrator who took it.
On Saturday, Jan. 12, it was reported that someone stole the orange 2016 Tao Tao CY50 E moped from the residence of Cecil Mosteller, address listed as Jacktown Road in Marion, between 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3 and 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4.
Anyone with information concerning the theft or the whereabouts of the missing moped is asked to call Detective Van Williams with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at 652-2237 or McDowell County Crime Stoppers at 65-CRIME (652-7463). You can also text your tips to Crime Stoppers. Text TIP MCDOWELLSO and your information to 888777. With Crime Stoppers, your identity remains anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward.
