                Deputy Robert Watson of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Leonard Patrick Ramsey III, 24, address listed as Kilgore Drive in Nebo, with possession of methamphetamine.
                At 11:43 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2, Watson stopped a Honda on Zion Hill Road for traffic violations. Once he approached the vehicle, he spotted drug paraphernalia inside.
                Watson and ALE Agent Jennifer Trantham searched the Honda and found a small amount of marijuana belonging to Ramsey and a passenger, 20-year-old Chelsey Lynn Ledford, address listed as Paradise Circle in Marion. Trantham issued citations to both suspects for the marijuana.
                Further inventory turned up .87 gram of methamphetamine belonging to Ramsey.
