                Deputy Robert Watson of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Kayla Lynn Smith, 30, address listed as Maple Avenue in Marion, with possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance and possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance.
                At 1:37 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, Watson stopped a Lexus Smith was operating on East Court Street. The suspect had reportedly been involved in a break-in.
                A subsequent search of the Lexus turned up 2.6 grams of methamphetamine, one Suboxone pill and 5.5 Alprazolam pills.
                No charges were filed in reference to the break-in.
