* WHAT...Intermittent Light Snow and Freezing Drizzle. Additional
snow accumulations from a trace to 1 inch. Additional ice
accumulations of a trace to 1/10 inch.
* WHERE...Western Virginia, Southeastern West Virginia, and
Northwest North Carolina...or generally west and north of a
line from Boone, to Stuart, to Rustburg, to Buckingham.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Monday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Patches of ice may still be encountered on
treated roads and surfaces along with areas of black ice.
Untreated roads will remain ice, snow, sleet covered and
hazardous. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning
commute.
Instructions:
A Winter Weather Advisory for freezing drizzle and light snow
means periods of wintry precipitation combined with existing ice,
snow, and slush will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect
ice and snow or sleet covered roads along with limited
visibilities in areas of precipitation and fog, and use caution
while driving.
