Deputies are investigating the cause of a fatal traffic collision that occcurred at Highway 395 north of Colusa Road

SUMMARY:
On Friday, January 11, 2019, at 11:05 pm, deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to the report of a traffic collision that had occurred on Hwy 395 north of Colusa Road.
Through investigation, deputies have determined that
Party #1 was traveling north on Highway 395, north of Colusa Rd when he was struck by Party #2 , who was traveling south. Party #2 struck Party #1 head on, causing fatal injuries to both drivers at the scene. Two female passengers, one from each vehicle, were airlifted to local trauma hospitals with unknown injuries. The cause of this collision is still under investigation. Anyone with information should contact Deputy Katie Merrill at the Victor Valley Station.
