Advisory

Light Snow, No expected Accumulation. Use caution overnight, roads may be icy.

We are looking at very cold conditions today so minimize your outdoor exposure. Snow is rolling in after 7pm through Sunday. We are looking at a dusting but depending on the storms path we could max out at 3 inches. I am not issuing a fluffernutter alert but this is a good time for a practice run to make sure your snow throwers are full of gas and actually work. Remember, you can always go to the back up snow thrower (Our Kids).
Make sure generators have oil and are safely placed away from the home and away from open windows.
If you build a snowman remember their favorite snacks are Ice Krispy Treats.

I will look at the next briefing from NOAA at 6 but will not issue another briefing unless something big changes.

Stay Safe and Warm!!

Briefing from NOAA:
Snow is expected to begin by Saturday evening. It is expected to continue through at least Sunday afternoon before tapering off from north to south. Snow may linger in Delmarva into Sunday night.
 There is the potential for 2 to 5 inches of snow in eastern Maryland, Delaware, and southern New Jersey. Locally higher amounts are possible, particularly in southern Delaware and adjacent portions of Maryland.
 Up to 2 inches of snow is anticipated for southeastern Pennsylvania and central New Jersey. There may be little accumulating snow north of Philadelphia, though the northern extent of accumulations is currently a low-confidence forecast.
 There is a small chance of gale force wind gusts on the coastal waters of New Jersey and Delaware, and on Delaware Bay from Sunday afternoon into Sunday night.
 Coastal flooding is not expected with this system.
