A strong low pressure system crossing the region late Saturday through Sunday night combined with cold air extending in from the north will lead to predominately freezing rain over portions of the northern Piedmont and adjacent Virginia bordering counties Saturday night and into the day on Sunday.
* WHAT...ice accumulations between one tenth to two tenths of an inch expected. Little to no snow accumulation is expected.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM EST Sunday.
