Synopsis: Fault will be determined pending further investigation. Driver 1, is a 63 year old female, driving a 2014 Chevy van. Driver 2, is a 28 year old male was driving a 2003 Yamaha R1 motorcycle. Driver 2 was southbound 8900 Carroll Way. Driver 1 was turning left from a private driveway onto Carrol Way, turning right in front of the motorcycle. Driver 2 sustained a closed fracture to his left wrist and ankle, internal injuries and head trauma. Driver 2s injuries were not life threatening and was transported to the hospital by medics. DUI is not a factor. Traffic Division responded to the scene and are investigating the collision.
