Synopsis: A 58 year old female victim was texting on her phone near the Container Store in Fashion Valley. A male suspect came up behind her and she felt a sharp pain in her back. The victim turned around and saw a white male walking away. The victim chased the suspect through the parking lot, onto Friars Rd and lost him at the 163 off ramp. The suspect was described as a white male in his early 30's, 6'0, light brown hair with either green or blue eyes. He was wearing a green shirt and brown pants. The victim was transported to the hospital with a non life threatening puncture wound to the right shoulder blade. San Diego Police Western Division Detectives are investigating.
