Synopsis: A 79 year old female pedestrian was walking northbound in the east crosswalk of Mira Mesa Bl. A 44 year old male was driving his vehicle westbound in the #1 lane of Mira Mesa Bl. A traffic collision occurred between the pedestrian and the vehicle. The pedestrian suffered a fractured pelvis, open fracture to the right tibia and head injuries. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. Fault has not been determined yet. San Diego Police Traffic Division is investigating.
