Driver found in possession of meth and morphine 
Deputy Robert Watson of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Janet Cook Nanney, 47, address listed as Walkertown Road in Old Fort, with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
At 6:18 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26, while on patrol on U.S. 70 East in Nebo, Watson stopped a Chevrolet Malibu for multiple traffic violations. Nanney was driving.
A subsequent search of the Malibu turned up .10 gram of methamphetamine and 31 milliliters of morphine.
