Wind Advisory

Wind Advisory in effect from 7AM until 12PM tomorrow. Gusts up to 50 mph are possible.  Exercise caution.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 7 am to noon EST Tuesday.

* Winds... west 20 to 25 mph with gusts 45 to 50 mph.

* Timing... westerly winds will quickly increase near daybreak Tuesday, with the strongest winds occurring between 8 am and 11 am. The winds will then diminish some during Tuesday afternoon.

* Impacts... gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and some power outages may result.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that very windy conditions are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Light-weight outdoor objects such as patio furniture and garbage cans should be secured.
