Synopsis: A 27 year old male and his 26 year old female passenger were in a 2014 Infinity Q50. They were traveling eastbound 11500 Scripps Poway Parkway, when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle slid sideways into the center median and struck a tree, on the passenger side of the vehicle. The driver was transported to the hospital by medics with serious injuries. The female passenger was air lifted by medevac to the hospital with serious life threatening injuries. Alcohol was not a factor. Traffic Division responded to the scene and are investigating the collision.
