The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a rural Sebastopol area shooting incident. Yesterday afternoon around 4:35 PM we received several calls of shots fired from a moving vehicle. The first call came from the area of Todd Rd and Old Gravenstein Hwy. The caller stated a brown car with three occupants was traveling SB on Todd when she heard several gunshots coming from it.
Shortly afterwards we received several other calls near the 6400 block of Lone Pine Road. One caller in this area stated a small, rusty, red four door sedan with several occupants went by her home and the driver held a handgun out the window, pointing it up in the area and fired several shots.
Nobody was reported injured at this time and it doesn’t appear any structures were hit. Casings from a .45 caliber handgun were located on the roadway and deputies are investigating the incident. If anyone has information about this incident please contact Deputy Allison at 707-565-2650.
