*UPDATE* #LASD Homicide Dets Continue to Investigate Circs of Shooting Death, 800 blk of W. Arbutus St, Compton
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives continue to investigate the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult that occurred on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at 2:45 p.m., at the 800 block of West Arbutus St, Compton.
Homicide detectives have learned that Compton Station deputies responded the 800 block of Arbutus St, Compton, regarding a shots fired call. When the deputies arrived, they located two male victims in the wash area behind the location, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both of the victims were transported to the local hospital where one victim was pronounced dead, and the other male victim is in critical condition.
There is no suspect information at this time.
The investigation is still ongoing.

NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are responding to the 800 block of West Arbutus Street, Compton, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of two male adults.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There is no further information at this time, and the investigation is still on-going.
