House of Worship Safety and Security Presentation

NARRATIVE:
On December 19th, 2018, the Ocean Township Police Department held a House of Worship Safety and Security Presentation. The presentation was held at the Jewish Community Center and was attended by members of all faiths. The event was open to all houses of worship in the area and was attend by congregation members from Ocean, Neptune, Deal, Long Branch, and other surrounding towns. The presentation was given by Lieutenant Eduardo Segarra and focused on how Houses of Worship could make themselves more secure while still being an open environment and also what to do if an incident occurred. The event was a great success and well received by all who attended.
