French Broad River At Blantyre affecting Henderson and Transylvania Counties. .Runoff from previous heavy rain will result in the river rising above and remaining above flood stage into Saturday. The Flood Warning continues for The French Broad River At Blantyre.

* At 8:31 AM Friday the stage was 15.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...rise above flood stage by the midday hours on Friday and continue to rise through this evening and crest at 16.5 feet around midnight or in the predawn hours of Saturday. The river will then fall and go below flood stage Saturday evening.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet...Minor Flood Stage. Farmland flooding continues on both sides of the French Broad River. Floodwaters begin to impact boat access areas at Grove Bridge Rd. and Crab Creek Rd.
