Monmouth County pair arrested for burglarizing residences

NARRATIVE:
In September of 2017 Det. Michael Legg investigated a burglary at a residence in the Wayside section of the Township. Over a year plus, Legg continued his investigation and developed two suspects, William Dolan and Devon Cody.
Further investigation revealed that the pair were responsible for the burglary in Wayside as well as several other burglaries in the Monmouth County. As the investigation expanded to surrounding counties, investigators identified approximately 20 different residences that were burglarized by Dolan and Cody. Both were ultimately located, arrested and charged accordingly with burglary and theft related offenses. They were processed and released pending future court appearances.
