Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives continue to investigate the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult that occurred on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at 9:25 a.m., at the intersection of East 84^th Place and South Hooper Avenue, Unincorporated Los Angeles. 
 
Homicide detectives have learned that Century Station deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call at the location.  Upon deputies arrival they found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper torso. 
 
Paramedics were on scene and performed lifesaving efforts.  Unfortunately the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. 
 
There is no suspect information available.
 
The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are responding to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man. The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at 9:25 a.m., at the corner of East 84th Place and South Hooper Avenue, Unincorporated Los Angeles.
 
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
